What do I need to get the process started?

To get the online notary process started, you must be eligible to be notarized in the United States. If you answer “Yes” to all of the questions below, you should qualify for our services.


1. Are you a US Citizen? (If not, someone from our affiliate offices can likely still assist) 

2. Are you over 18?

3. Do you have a Social Security Number? (There will be a soft credit pull based on the last 4 of the SSN and birthday for questions to verify identity)

4. Do you have A US Driver's License, State ID, or Passport?

5. Do you have at least 5 years US Credit History?

6. Is your credit history unlocked?

How does the virtual notary process work?

The first step is to reach out to us and tell us about your signing needs, including how many documents and signers will need notarial services. We will then contact you to set up a preliminary call to discuss your documents, time frame, and overall needs. Once we have the documents in hand, we will review them to ensure they have all required fields not requiring a notarization correctly filled in and provide a final cost for our service. Once we receive payment, we will confirm your scheduled time and send you a link to prepare for our online service.

What do I need the day of the notary service?

At the time of Notary service, please assure all parties are available and ready to begin the transaction.  Each signer/witness will need their own device and their own space in which to complete the transaction.  It is best not to have everyone in the same room, as it helps avoid audio feedback.  Please be in a location that has WiFi or strong cellular service, as the audio/visual portion cannot be choppy.  Each signer will need to have their ID with them, as they will need to present this to the camera for the recorded portion of the transaction.

Do I need to supply my own witness?

Nope! At Bet on Vegas Notary Services we can provide you with a witness for any signing.  Please let us know if you need this additional service at time of booking as it will impact the original quote.   Although we are happy to supply a virtual witness, you may supply your own if you wish.  To supply your own witness, please confirm with us at time of booking that they have access to their own computer or device. 

Does everyone need to use their own device or computer?

Yes, each person is required to have their own device and strong WiFi/data signal for the verification process.  This is because you will be required to enter your pin once we begin the notary service.





If I am a US Citizen living overseas, am I eligible for this service?

Absolutely! Our virtual notarial services are available to all US Citizens regardless of location.  To verify your information, you will need to use your most recent US address.

If I am not a US Citizen, am I eligible for this service?

Absolutely! Our virtual notarial services are available to all US Citizens regardless of location.  To verify your information, you will need to use your most recent US address.

How soon should I send my document to you for review?

The sooner the better! Once we receive your document, we will review it for any missing information and give you the final cost of the notary service based on how many notarized signatures are required. 

What if my document isn’t complete?

No problem! We know things happen so we put your document(s) through a screening process to ensure it is ready to go for the online notary signing.  If your document is not complete, we will highlight the areas that need to be completed by you, or your legal team, and send it back to you for completion.

What if my document changes?

If your document has changed, please let us know as soon as possible.  Please note: this will require us to process the documents for a second time and may incur an additional change fee. 




What if I have to reschedule?

We know sometimes things happen and schedules change.  If your notarization time has changed, we will be happy to reschedule as long as it fits within our notary’s schedule.

What do I do if I need to cancel?

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel your notary service.
